Who we are
Lidwina is a California nonprofit corporation dedicated to education, social integration, and empowerment of women in vulnerable situations across Central and Latin America. Our website is lidwina.org. For any questions about this policy, you can reach us at ellen.vandamme@lidwina.org.
Information we collect
We try to keep this simple. Our website collects very little information, and we don’t sell or share what we do collect.
Automatically: When you visit lidwina.org, our hosting provider (WordPress.com) automatically receives standard technical information sent by your browser — such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, and the time of your visit. This is logged for security and basic analytics purposes.
Voluntarily: If you write to us at ellen.vandamme@lidwina.org, we receive whatever information you choose to include in your message (such as your name and email address). We use this only to respond to you and to maintain ongoing correspondence if appropriate.
We do not currently use contact forms, mailing list sign-ups, or donation processing on our website. If we add these in the future, we will update this policy and clearly explain what information is collected and how it is used.
How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to inquiries and maintain correspondence
- Operate, maintain, and improve our website
- Understand general visitor patterns (such as which pages are viewed most)
